Doyles Poker Room

Multi-table Tournaments

Doyle’s Room doesn’t have too many different multi-table tournaments running throughout the day, with more than hour breaks between any given two tournaments at some points. The tournaments that do run are of great variety though, with tournaments from upwards of $50, right down to the “Sharpshooter” tournaments with a $0.10 buy-in. The sharpshooter tournaments are $0.10 bounty tournaments that run at many times throughout the day. Doyle’s Room’s multi-table tournament claim to fame would have to be the Wednesday night bounty tournament, where you can play with Doyle and his friends for your chance at their $500 bounties. Best of all your first entry into this tournament is free!

Sit and Go Tournaments

Doyle’s Room sit and go’s take a while to fill up and you would be hard pressed to find any sit and go’s with a buy-in of over $20 running at all. However, the turbo sit and go’s are very good at Doyle’s Room, as you have “Super Crazy” or “Extreme” turbos to choose between.

Ring Games

Doyle’s Room always has a lot of low limit no limit hold’em being played at the cash games. The game of choice seems to be 6-handed hold’em. There are plenty of games going at all times with blinds as low as $0.02/$0.05 and as high as $2/4. Low limit games of Omaha H/L, Omaha Hi and 5 card draw can also be found at most hours on Doyle’s Room.

* 7 Card Stud and 5 Card Stud only have games running during peak hours.

Software & Graphics

Doyle’s Room has recently updated their software and went away from the gimmicky cartoonish feel, to a more rustic feel, which is more suiting to a legend of poker. The lobby has a side menu, with lots of submenus and this allows you to find the game you are looking for easily. The tables are resizable and can be condensed a great deal, so you can fit at least 4, or maybe even 6 tables, onto a standard sized screen. There is also very little loss in graphics as you shrink the tables. Doyle’s Room does not have avatars, but instead allows players to upload pictures, just like they do at PokerStars. The software is quite quick so you can get a lot of hands in at the tables in a short space of time.

Competition

The competition at Doyle’s Room is that of an average poker room with players per flop percentages in the 30% to 40% range. However, because there aren’t too many high limit games to be found, you won’t find too many pros making their living at the Doyle’s Room tables.

Support

Doyle’s Room has one of the best support systems in the industry. At any time, day or night, you can pick up the phone and get a hold of one someone to help you with your problem instantly. You also have the option of live chat or email. The emails are a little slower than other rooms, but you can expect a response within half a day.
